During the symposium, the participants (Pharmacy Game partners) will present the international developments of the Pharmacy Game, take part in two inspirational sessions on sustainability and mentalization in pharmacy education, and participate in a roundtable discussion on future research and educational developments of the Pharmacy Game.

LUMC completes the circle of Dutch Universities that use the Pharmacy Game
The Leiden University Medical Center, LUMC, is the new partner of the Pharmacy Game consortium. During the last consortium meeting, the partners met Martina Teichert, a pharmacist, epidemiologist, and associate professor at LUMC, teaching methodology. She is also involved in pharmacy practice research. Speaking of the last, she was the initiator for implementing the Pharmacy Game, GIMMICS in Leiden.

Who you are?
My name is Christa de Vries. I work as a pharmaceutical consultant/ practical skills lecturer during the Pharmacy Game, GIMMICS at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. My work experience in the field of pharmacy started back in 1985. I have worked for many years as a pharmacy assistant, and since 2009, I have been part of the Pharmacy Game team in Groningen. In addition to that, I also work in a community pharmacy in Wolvega. I am mainly involved in quality management, coordination, and policy-related activities.

My name is Diede Jansen. I am in my third and last master's year of Medicine at the University of Groningen. As a healthcare professional, I like to improve people's quality of life. Therefore, after finishing my study, I would love to work in geriatric medicine and palliative care.
