A New Member Joins the International Pharmacy Game Network

By Tanja Fens

The International Pharmacy Game (PG) community is steadily expanding, strengthening its role as a vibrant platform for advancing pharmacy education. Twice each year—during the PG Circle Meeting in January and the Annual Symposium in May/June—universities from around the world come together to exchange perspectives, set priorities for educational development, and share creative teaching practices. These gatherings help drive collaboration focused on improving student learning, fostering international engagement, and exploring new service concepts that can be translated into everyday pharmacy practice.

This year marks a special milestone: the community proudly welcomes its 11th member, Universität Innsbruck from Austria. The Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of Innsbruck—recognized as one of the country’s leading contributors to clinical pharmacy training—joins the initiative as part of its ongoing effort to adopt innovative, evidence-based teaching methods. The addition of our colleagues from Innsbruck opens the door to fresh perspectives, deeper collaboration, and continued progress across our international network.
